Unusual entertainment

While we were in Texas for Thanksgiving JP decided he really wanted to play with our suit case. He was fascinated with the zipper. I was helping him stand next to the suit case and he fell in. The best thing was he just started laughing. He has the cited little giggle!

Cousins

Back in August Auntie Elizabeth and cousins Rand & Ella came to visit.  We had a great time.  It was so cute to see JP smiling and having a wonderful time watching Rand & Ella. 

First Road Trip

We were able to make a trip to Live Oak before the summer ended so the Bratcher family could meet JP. 

It started Friday th 13th around midnight with JP waking up for a feeding.  The car was already packed so at 1:30am Mama, Daddy, JP & Shadow all got situated in the car to start our drive.  We got to Live Oak at about 11am, JP was great, sleeping most of the way and just waking up to eat.  Luckily there was only one period of crying for about 15 minutes when we were only 45 minutes away from Grandpa's house.

On Saturday the rest of the family came over for a bbq.  We enjoyed a few rounds of moon, of course.  JP was the main attraction though!   It was great to have everyone come over to see us.  JP is blessed!

8 weeks & 10 toes!

Hard to believe JP is 8 weeks old! 

Time is starting to fly by as I was warned it would... I am enjoying every moment of summer at home with my precious little boy.  I'm starting this so that I can share those moments with all of you!

This morning JP discovered that he has feet! Pretty soon he will be trying to get those 10 little toes in his mouth along with everything else.
